SHOXS 8300 is purpose built for maritime security applications. This seat is typically used for high density troop transport applications.

SHOXS 8300 seats are not shock mitigated however if required both passive and SHOXSDUAL2 suspensions are available on the SHOXS 8180. SHOXSDUAL2 utilizes real Semi-Active technology. Ride conditions are analyzed 1000 times per second. Seat time response to damping adjustments can be as fast as 5 milliseconds. Continuously variable, it automatically compensates for occupant weight and modifies the seat response for each wave. Unlike manual adjustments SHOXSDUAL2 automatically adjusts damping ratios to maximize shock attenuation for various occupant weights and impact severity.

The SHOXS 8300 is compact and light weight. Bulkhead mounted, this 3-wide seat incorporates flip-up seat pans which create additional deck space when they are unoccupied. The 8300 may be converted to a horizontal bench or litter carrier. Each 8300 is supplied with integrated personal storage and a water bottle holder.

SHOXS seats are manufactured using high quality marine grade materials including 6061-T6 AL, titanium, 316 stainless steel and heavy duty hand-stitched vinyl upholstery. Available options include lap belt, black and tan upholstery.
