SHOXS 6100 is purpose built for maritime security applications. It is typically used in confined cabin spaces or center console law enforcement vessels where the low seat cushion height and drop-out seat pan make it suitable for auxiliary seating applications.
SHOXS 6100 seats are available with SHOXSDUAL2 suspension, utilizing real Semi-Active technology. Ride conditions are analyzed 1000 times per second. Seat time response to damping adjustments can be as fast as 5 milliseconds. Continuously variable, it automatically compensates for occupant weight and modifies the seat response for each and every wave. Unlike manual adjustments SHOXSDUAL2 automatically adjusts damping ratios to maximize shock attenuation for various occupant weights and impact severity.
The SHOXS 6100 is typically bulkhead mounted however it may also be mounted aft-facing on the rails of other SHOXS seats. This tandem configuration is very compact and can been used for aft-facing gunners. The 6100 incorporates 203mm 8”) suspension travel.
SHOXS seats are manufactured using high quality marine grade materials including 6061-T6 AL, titanium, 316 stainless steel and heavy duty hand-stitched vinyl upholstery. Available options include SHOXSDUAL2, various armrest widths, head rest, pistol grips, cup holder, chart pocket, lap belt, 5 point harness, black and grey upholstery, Furuno and SeaFLIR controller mounts, throttle boxes, custom control consoles.
