Shockwave SWP-1045 Fold Down Bolster Seat is designed for small cockpit areas where a full comfort seat is required. The SWP-1045 Fold Down Bolster Seat can be mounted on a deck, wall or bulkhead. The seat base folds down to allow standing in front of the seat with leaning and bolster support for the occupant. The linear suspension module allows the seat to be mounted very low and still retain full suspension travel. This seat is very small and compact when stowed and it deploys in seconds when it is needed.
The adjustable progressive spring rate FOX Float shock absorber has 152mm (6”) travel which provides a high level of shock mitigation and vibration attenuation. Ergonomic, sculpted seat cushions are made with body heat activated, body contour forming, EAF energy absorbing viscoelastic foam.
Specifications include welded 304 stainless steel chassis, 6061 T6 aluminum machined components and 5086 H32 aluminum welded components certified to CWB/AWS welding standards. Finish is hard anodize and polyester powder coat. The seat and suspension unit can be mounted using an optional mounting box, four-up mounting box, deck mounting bracket or bulkhead mounting bracket.
Shockwave adjustment options include height adjustment, folding armrests, pistol grip handgrips, rear handrail, headrest plus shoulder, kidney or thigh rest and multi-point seat belts. The standard seat (without kidney bolsters) provides clearance for belt mounted safety gear, equipment or weapons. Suspension options include AVA (Advanced Suspension Adjustment).
